Help my dad’s fight against stage 4 lung cancer

Donation protected
I come to you with a plea from the depths of my heart. My father, a man who has always been a beacon of strength, kindness, and generosity, is facing his toughest battle yet: stage 4 lung cancer.

From my earliest memories, my dad has been the embodiment of compassion and altruism. He's the kind of person who rises early to clear a neighbor's snowy driveway without seeking thanks, or patiently waits to ensure that every child is safely picked up from school, regardless of their circumstance.

His heart knows no bounds, extending his love beyond our neighborhood to support orphans, empower women in developing countries, fund eye hospitals for free surgery, helped churches and temples with food and funds for their projects, educated kids and put them through college and provided essential resources to those in need. He never thought about anything for himself. A brilliant mind with a passion for numbers and equations, my dad is not only an engineer with a PhD but also an athlete, a musician, and my unwavering supporter.

He never smoked in his life and now has nodules and lesions all over his lungs, liver, stomach cavity. Now the man who has always been my pillar of strength needs our help. He taught me that I can do anything and sent me to Harvard University and now he faces a diagnosis that brings him to the final edge.. We are determined to fight this with the best treatment available, yet the costs are daunting.

This GoFundMe campaign is more than just a call for financial support; it's a chance to give for a man who has lived his life for others. His motto was Help Ever, Hurt Never.

I remember as a child going with my parents to hospitals to sit with those who had no one and sing hymns chant pray with them. I remember going with them on Meals on Wheels drives, serving hot food every week to the elderly who had no one. I remember serving food at the soup kitchen every month where my mother led a group that cooked vegetarian food for 250 people every month. I remember making care packages for the abused women’s Shelter where we drove every Saturday serving sandwiches for all the inmates and giving new toiletries. I remember driving to warehouses where we collected canned food to give for our monthly donations. My parents lives were always about giving giving giving. They trusted in a divine power and never planned for, neither thought that they will ever need help themselves. My mother comes from Uttarakhand and my father from Punjab in India. We would appreciate your support in any way at this excruciating time.

Your contribution will help cover his medical bills which are astronomical. We are deeply grateful for the support you can provide, with your donations, your prayers and sharing this message in your networks. Thank you.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your heartfelt support.
