Our amazing & dear coworker as well as friend, Melissa S. needs our community now more than ever. A little over a month ago, she suffered a severe ankle dislocation, an injury that has left her unable to work and facing a long recovery ahead. Doctors expect she’ll be out for at least another month if not more, which means her ability to earn an income has come to a complete stop.

As a single mom, she carries the weight of her household on her own. She’s raising a wonderful teenage son who is passionate about soccer and whose birthday is just around the corner. Normally, she would make this time special for him—but between medical appointments, bills piling up, and the stress of being out of work, even the basics are becoming difficult.

Why We're Asking for Help
