Good friends were in a horrible car accident Sunday night when they were hit by a drunk driver going 70 miles an hour. They are both in critical condition.

imagine working hard every day scrimping to buy the one thing you need: a car. Their car was not just transportation- it was their home, their livelihood, their safe place. They have nothing left.

Just a week ago, while driving home, they were violently T-boned by a drunk driver fleeing from police. In an instant, everything they owned—their car, their belongings, their livelihood, and their home—was destroyed.

Both of them have been in the hospital ever since, fighting through pain and injury. They now face a long road of recovery, including extensive physical therapy. When they are discharged, they will have nowhere to go. No car to live in. No clothes. No place to rest. No way to work. Nothing.

This couple has lost everything through no fault of their own. They worked so hard to survive and move forward, only to have it all ripped away in seconds by someone else’s reckless actions.
