A member of our PS 361Q The Woodside Community School community suddenly and unexpectedly lost her husband. He was the sole breadwinner for the family, leaving her and their two children, who are both part of our school community, behind. They are currently facing incredible financial hardship, an uncertain living situation, and desperately need help in the form of financial support.

We, as a community, want to raise funds to help her family so that they can hopefully bridge the gap until they might receive support through other sources and can get back on their feet in this new life situation.

As a school community who stands together, this is the perfect way to show up for one another, and we hope you show heart and help us out to support the three of them as best as possible.

In order to protect her and her children's privacy—especially in this time of grief—we are keeping this anonymous and kindly ask for your understanding. Please let this not deter you from chipping in with as much as you can!

Una miembro de nuestra comunidad escolar PS 361Q, The Woodside Community School, perdió repentina e inesperadamente a su esposo. Él era el único sostén de la familia, dejándola sola con sus dos hijos, quienes forman parte de nuestra comunidad escolar. Actualmente, enfrentan dificultades económicas increíbles, una situación de vida incierta y necesitan desesperadamente apoyo financiero.

Como comunidad, queremos recaudar fondos para ayudar a su familia y así, con suerte, superar la situación hasta que puedan recibir apoyo de otras fuentes y puedan recuperarse en esta nueva situación.
