Help a grieving couple through the loss of a child and job

To our friends, family, and compassionate strangers who know Hunter and Kayla Gasaway.
We come to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support for a young husband and wife, who have recently endured unfathomable sorrow. Hunter and Kayla were both overjoyed while preparing for the birth of their daughter. They had her nursery fully prepared, the diaper bag packed, the crib assembled and Kayla had prepared to quit her job to stay home with the baby. Hunter has been a diligent worker, working full-time and only taking the day of the birth off to be there for his family. They had a healthy and active 40-week pregnancy only to find out after 30+ hours of labor that baby Karlie was gone. In the span of one week, they experienced not only the devastating stillbirth of their precious daughter, but also the sudden and unexpected termination from Hunter's job, leaving them reeling with confusion and uncertainty. Though medical testing has been performed, at this time the family still has no answers for why this happened.
As they navigate through the overwhelming grief of losing their beloved daughter, they are also grappling with the sudden loss of financial stability. They find themselves facing unforeseen challenges and mounting expenses, medical and otherwise, during a time when they should be allowed to focus solely on healing and grieving together as a family.
We cannot begin to imagine the depth of their pain and the weight of their burdens, but we refuse to let them shoulder this burden alone. Together, we can offer them a glimmer of stability amidst the darkness, a reminder that they are not alone in their struggles.
Your generosity can help alleviate the financial strain they are facing, providing them with the breathing room they desperately need to mourn, to heal, and to begin searching for employment. Whether it's covering medical bills, memorial expenses, or simply offering a lifeline to help them stay afloat during this tumultuous time, every contribution, no matter how small, will make a profound difference.
Let us come together as a community bound by compassion and empathy, extending our love and support to this grieving couple as they navigate through the darkest chapter of their lives. Your kindness and generosity will not only provide practical assistance but also serve as a beacon of hope, reminding them that they are surrounded by love and solidarity.
Please consider donating and sharing their story with your networks. Let us rally behind them, offering strength, comfort, and the promise of brighter days ahead.
To our Christian family we implore your help as servants of Jesus Christ who said: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35
1 John 3:16-18: "By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth."
James 2:15-16: "If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?"
We are hoping this money will sustain Hunter and Kayla for a few months.
Thank you and God bless.
