Tonight, my best friend, Riannon Simpson and her family experienced the unimaginable when their Green Island home caught fire. This family, born and raised in our community, has always been the first to lend a helping hand, showing up for neighbors in times of need without ever asking for anything in return. Now, they are facing a devastating loss, and it’s our turn to rally around them and offer the support they so generously give to others.

Riannon and Ryan are currently 28 weeks pregnant, with two young children, Parker and Luna. Riannon’s parents, Rena and Joe Simpson and both of the family’s dogs were inside the house at the time of the fire. Thankfully everyone is okay, but everyone is now displaced.

All of the funds raised will help cover temporary housing, replace essential belongings, and address all the urgent needs that come with rebuilding after such a tragedy. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help this family begin to recover and remind them that they are surrounded by people who care deeply.
