Hi, my name is Jeff, and I’m fundraising to help my grandpa replace his failing iPad.
A few years ago, I introduced him to the game Marvel Snap.
I eventually stopped playing, but he never did. It became part of his daily routine — something he genuinely looks forward to. Over time, he didn’t just play casually: he reached the highest rank and even won a tournament (screenshots of his humble bragging attached). His in-game name is SafeCitron.
Unfortunately, his iPad is now on its last legs. It overheats badly, crashes frequently, and has barely enough storage left to keep the game updated. He’s on a fixed income, and replacing it isn’t something he can afford. I’m disabled and don’t have the means to buy one outright either. Because of that, he’s been talking about quitting the game altogether.
I’m hoping to raise $700, which would cover a new 256GB iPad so he can keep playing comfortably and safely. Anything beyond that would go toward improving my grandparents’ internet connection, and — if this grows — possibly helping him start a small YouTube channel to share his commentary.
If you’re able to donate, thank you so much. If not, sharing or leaving a kind message still means the world to us.
#SaveCitron
