Our family is heartbroken after the sudden and tragic loss of my brother’s partner, who passed away shortly after giving birth to their beautiful baby girl, Esra. What should have been a moment of celebration turned into a devastating loss when she suffered a blood clot that caused a heart attack and seizure.

In an instant, my brother became a single father to four children, including a newborn who just entered this world without her mother.

This loss was completely unexpected. Our family is still trying to process the shock and grief. Just three months ago we lost our own mother, and now we are facing another heartbreaking goodbye.

Right now, my brother’s focus needs to be on grieving, caring for his children, and supporting them through this unimaginable transition. The last thing he should have to worry about is how he will keep up with rent, bills, groceries, diapers, and the many unexpected expenses that come with raising four children alone.
