Hi, I’m Paul.
And I’m asking for help to stay in my daughters’ lives.
I’m a father to three beautiful girls, and for the past several years I’ve been fighting through the family court system to protect my relationship with them. I never imagined I would end up here, writing something like this, but I’ve reached the point where I simply cannot do it alone anymore.
After years of legal fees, court appearances, child support, school expenses and ongoing costs, every dollar I had is gone. My parents have helped as much as they possibly could, but the reality is we’ve run out of money while the legal battle continues.
In just a few weeks, I have another major court appearance.
Without legal representation, there is a real possibility my daughters could be relocated seven hours away from me.
That would mean missing the everyday moments that matter most — school drop-offs, dinners together, homework, swimming lessons, soccer games, birthdays, concerts and simply being present as their dad while they grow up.
Kids grow up fast. You don’t get those years back.
I’m not fighting to take their mother out of their lives. I’m fighting for equal custody, so our girls can continue having both parents, both homes, and both sides of their family actively involved in their childhood.
The family report is in my favour, and there is a genuine chance of achieving a fair outcome, but I urgently need help to get there.
To continue this fight properly through court, I need to raise between $70,000 and $80,000 over the coming weeks for legal fees and representation.
I know that’s a huge amount of money, and I know times are tough for everyone right now. But if enough people can contribute even a small amount — $20, $50, or whatever they can afford — it could genuinely change the future of my daughters’ lives and my ability to remain an active father to them.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page could help more than you realise. Sometimes one share reaches the right person.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Truly.
And if I make it through this, I fully intend to pay it forward and help other parents facing the same heartbreaking situation.
