Many of you know that I started my sobriety journey roughly a year ago. About a month and a half into sobriety I moved in to a men’s sober living house. It was one of the hardest but most beneficial decisions I’ve ever made. The time has come for me to move on and take the next step. Both for myself and for my kids, who I rarely get to keep overnight because of my living situation. I have recently found a housing opportunity that is very affordable monthly but the costs to get in are high so while I do not want to be doing this, I have to give it a shot to try to get me and my kids in a better position. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated and go a very long way. My pride is taking a hit asking for help but I can’t let that hold me back and miss out on a great opportunity.
