Help A Fat Black Activist Travel to Fat Con 2025

Hi! I am a Black, plus-size, and queer activist for the last 13 years. I am a recipient of a scholarship to attend Fat Con 2025, which will pay general admission and hotel room costs. I need funds for travel to pay for my flight and Ubers in Seattle, WA. This provides an opportunity for me to network with other fat activists from around the country and help give the resources that I need to implement my fat activism work. I work extremely hard and I am low income. My income has been unpredictable regardless of me working, and I live in income housing and live check to check. Donating will help someone like me get an opportunity to attend the conference. I lean on the community to be able to stay active in the body-positive community. Donating would really help me.

Update 12/20/24 I saw that the rental for a scooter for my size is $130. So I will adjust the limit of the fundraiser.
