I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a close friend and their family during an incredibly difficult time. Osman Shokair, my friend’s brother was involved in a serious traffic accident after being struck by a truck while riding his e-bike at the Strandherd and Greenbank intersection in Ottawa. He is currently in a coma and in a very critical condition in the ICU. 

Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we are limiting the details shared publicly. The family is focused on supporting him through this difficult journey and navigating the challenges that come with such a sudden tragedy.
