I have started a gofundme for my brother and his family, here is word from him about his daughter and their situation. I’ve struggled for weeks on making any type of post about my daughter and our current situation. As a father I feel ashamed & embarrassed to seek help outside of my own capabilities. I like to think I’m Superman when Lord knows I’m not. God has given me the strength to make it this far. After our daughter was born with a heart condition that requires open heart surgery life slowed down for us a pretty good bit. Obviously we stayed grateful that there is a surgery that can fix her condition. We were expecting to have this surgery after the new year and were preparing for that the best we could. Unfortunately after her last appointment with the cardiologist things seemed to worsen with her condition. We just found out today surgery will be taking place on Nov 19th at the Children’s hospital in Jackson. During this time my daughter can not go to day care and we have to be very careful on any sickness she could be exposed to. My wife will be missing months of work without pay as well as spending a good amount of time in Jackson until we are able to return home. I’ve thought about doing a fundraiser or possibly having some sort of benefit to help us not sink financially during the upcoming months and holiday season. I know that God has the final say in our situation and this process. I pray that this is only another trial that we will make it through. We are beyond thankful for the friends and family we have and the support we have received this far. We are also thankful that God has provided us a medical team that seems confident that they can make a full repair with this surgery. Ultimately this is out of our hands at this point and we will let God handle this the way he sees fit. If any of you would like to help in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
