Help a Family Stay Mobile and Safe

Hello, we are a family that relies on our vehicle to get from home to work, medical appointments, grocery shopping, and general extracurricular enrichment programs.

Sports are shown to help children in many different areas of life, and with spring coming, it would be great to be able to take the family out and about safely, without fears of engine stalls in the middle of an intersection (it has happened several times).

I had my vehicle inspected and maintenance done in November, with the mechanic saying it would be a-ok.

I also put $600 into it last month when it needed repairs for the control module, I believe it is called, and I cannot continue to bandaid a money pit.

I appreciate everyone that wants to help. Once things settle down from the harassment I have been experiencing, I will return to my prior job.

I am also looking for employment that will accommodate my weight limit (8 lb) so that I can continue to function without severe pain and care for my children.

I won't be touching this until a vehicle is found, and I am not looking for a fancy vehicle, just one that enables me to continue to be mobile and follow through with scheduled commitments in a prompt fashion.
