Brett is a local property manager, and together we are helping a family transition from a shelter to an apartment. As part of our 2025 season of joy and giving, we are adopting this family for the holidays to bring hope and light to their new beginning. Our goal is to help them settle in with more than just what they could carry on their backs, and to show them the kindness and support of our community.

The family includes a mom and her two children, ages 12 and 9. We’d love to provide the kids with a few new outfits and age-appropriate toys, as well as a small Christmas tree with simple decorations to make their new space feel like home. We’re also hoping to give their mom gift cards for groceries and clothing, so she can choose what her family needs most. Any additional funds will go toward coats, winter gear, and essential household items like lamps, cookware, utensils, and towels—things that will help them feel comfortable and cared for in their new apartment.

As many of you know, Brett and I are passionate about giving back, especially during the holidays. We’re reaching out to our friends, family, and neighbors because we know how generous and caring our community is.
