As'Salaamu'alaykum all, I wanted to share this with you guys as an opportunity to help a family live in peace and comfort - my brother & sister in law over in Bangladesh are trying to raise funds to repair and extend their home.
Currently they are all sleeping in one room as a family of five: Mother, father, teenage daughter who now needs her own room and privacy, 9yr old son and a toddler.
Their home needs repair and security to their kitchen, bathroom and an additional room which is uninhabitable due to damaged and exposed roof.
They need to completely replace the straw roof on the property with a tin roof, put up some walls, upgrade the electrics and complete the spare room so their two grown children have some privacy.
Total cost for this works will be close to £5000 - I want to help and try to raise as much as possible for them bi'ithnillah.
If you guys can spare anything, even if it's £5-10 it would mean the world to them.

Majority of repairs, reconstruction work and renovations have been completed.
Final touches as far as minor renovations, electrics, decor, furniture and essentials remaining. Myself and the family appreciate everything you have all done to support this.
Especially the children - their joy, happiness and gratitude is immeasurable as they now have the privacy, peace of mind and security of a dry roof, as well as the means to sleep in the comfort of their own beds.
