Friends and family,

My babies are finally coming home! As most of you know the last four years I have been in a pretty messy divorce and custody battle. My girls have been my entire life since I was 19 years old and I have been fighting tirelessly for all of our safety and well being. Most of you know the story and how challenging this has been for my girls and me. I'd prefer not to go into too much detail on this platform in order to preserve as much diginity as I can for all parties involved. If you have any questions I have no problem with anyone reaching out to me personally. I can't in good conscience use this platform to bad mouth any other parties involved here. What I will say is the girls will be home later this year thanks to family and finally having a new lawyer and judge who truly listened and saw the truth.

The last four years have been the longest and most challenging that I have endured thus far. I wouldn't wish for any mother to be separated from her babies. Leaving my marriage and fighting for my girls has also posed an incredible amount of financial hardship. My divorce alone has cost my family upwards of $40,000. We're now approaching close to $70,000 in lawyer fees and travel and the like. I was a stay at home mom for most of the girls lives so when I re entered the workforce 3 years ago I was already at a disadvantage. But with the COVID crisis being in full force it posed a number of other issues. I have maintained a full time job and have been able to actually pursue a career in dentistry since then but I still am unfortunately in a position where I feel it necessary to reach out to my village for help. My lawyer has been very understanding about payments but also needs to get caught up. Time is also, very unfortunately, of the essence. If any of you are in a position to help me tackle the lawyer fees I've acquired throughout this journey, any amount no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated.
