Help a Family of Trans Drag Artists Thrive in Texas

Hello community!
We are the Haus of Trans, a chosen family of trans drag artists living in Austin, Texas. Each artist in our family has an individual story, but we are united by our love for drag, community, and self-expression. Together, we provide support for each other, laugh together at family dinners, and help each other reach our goals as artists and people.
Our Mother, The Trans Era aka Era Steinfeld, has been privileged enough to experience her own gender affirming goals, so she wanted to set up this fund for us to help us reach our gender goals as well. We’re reaching out to you today to support our family of incredibly talented, passionate, and resilient trans drag artists. Our community of drag performers, especially trans and gender non-conforming artists, face unique challenges that often go unseen. We all have unique experiences battling gender dysphoria, and with the cost of living on the rise, we are unable to access the care we need. Gender-affirming care is not just about medical procedures—it is about finally being able to live as their true selves in a society that often fails to recognize their worth.
Supporting trans individuals in their journey for gender affirmation is an act of love and solidarity. By contributing to this fund, you are helping us continue to live authentically, both as trans people and as drag performers. You are ensuring that we can thrive, create, and inspire while accessing the medical care that is necessary for our well-being.
We all know that the political climate nationally and here in Texas are trending towards making it harder for trans folks to access the care they need, and because of that, we are raising $20,000 to help us get what they deserve: a body we feel at home in. Our fundraising total will be split evenly amongst each of the 4 siblings, which is what we decided and what we wanted for each other.
We are deeply grateful for your support. Your contribution—whether financial, emotional, or through sharing this campaign—means the world to us.

Hello, my name is Beauregard Elliot aka Sir Beauregard Elliot, Esquire. I am a trans-masculine non-binary person who needs funds for top surgery and post-op care to help with dysphoria. And eventually I would also like to raise money for a hysterectomy. I am asking for help because even with my full time job and performance gigs here and there, I can barely afford food, let alone surgery, after paying rent and my car note. This would change my life for the better; I’d feel better in my skin, I’d be able to move and dance and perform better, my back wouldn’t hurt so much, and I would finally be able to breathe.

My name is Venus Rising, however out of drag I go by Sky. I identify as nonbinary trans masc, but more simply just not a girl (lol). In July 2024 I started taking the steps towards becoming my more authentic self and started taking testosterone. While this has been an amazing and affirming feeling, I want to continue taking the next steps in my journey which is to get top surgery. As of this time, I am currently unemployed and have been trying for a few months at this point to get a sustainable job, however I have been lucky enough to be able to make my living off of drag performances which has helped with my basic living necessities such as food, rent, transportation, etc. This top surgery would help me not just feel more comfortable in my own skin, but also make me feel more visibly myself.

My name is Jenna Talia, but out of drag I go by Wynter. I am a TS woman living in Austin, Texas. I grew up on a ranch out in the Texas Hill Country where I never even knew what trans was. It wasn’t until I turned 17 and was able to branch out to queer communities where I learned of myself and my transness. Through the queer community I found drag to really channel my inner femininity. Through drag I found so much love and community members that let me know there was a safe place to be myself. I’ve been on my transition journey since I was 19 years old and it hasn’t been the easiest journey. I haven’t always had the resources to pay for myself let alone HRT or surgeries. These funds will put me a step closer to achieving a lifelong dream to live my life to the fullest authenticity.

My name is Damiana Divine, and out of drag my name is Al. I am a genderqueer performer here in ATX, born and raised. As I have gotten older I have had the great opportunity to get close with my local queer community and they have helped me truly grow and understand myself and my transness. I have always known that I did not align with the gender binary, and now as a young adult I feel confident and secure in life as a genderqueer individual. Moving forward I would really appreciate using the donated resources to fully begin my physical transition journey. I would like to start hormones consistently with a doctor and medical prescriber, buy high quaity supplies like packers and binders for my dysphoria, and begin saving for top surgery. Top surgery is a huge step to take without these stepping stones, and with these resources it will finally be possible to see myself with the body I know I deserve.
