They are feeling hopeful and anticipating these important changes!! Finding a new home is the challenge right now but they are searching constantly.

Their story:

We are reaching out to you about a sweet family in need of funds to support an immediate move to a safer healthier home. Due to the families need for privacy at this time, we are unable to share their names. Please trust in us that they are a kind-hearted family of four, close to our hearts, in need of our support.

This family is navigating ongoing, deep-rooted challenges with housing, their fragile situation could unravel in just weeks. We’re stepping in now to prevent a traumatic crisis. With your generous contributions we can help them find stable, sustainable housing, giving them a chance to move forward in life with security and peace of mind.

The family includes two compassionate, devoted parents and two children. One child is severely disabled and requires lifelong care and ongoing medical treatment. The other child needs ongoing mental health support. These two additional life stressors would normally be enough for anyone to carry.

At the center of this crisis is a parent navigating serious mental health challenges that have been worsened by the ongoing stress, instability, and an increasingly untenable housing situation that they and the family are in.

They have carried an extraordinary amount of responsibility, holding everything together under intense pressure, but change is needed.

This parent shared deep gratitude that their life situation has been truly seen and heard. They now feel open to receiving support, and this fundraiser offers a hopeful opportunity to ease the strain and create more stable circumstances for their family.

**As organizer (Tara Mason), I will be acting as stand in beneficiary to receive all funds that will then be transferred to the family in order to maintain their privacy.

Because so much of the families, time, energy and financial resources go toward the everyday care and survival of the family, and with the ongoing medical needs and unexpected life challenges, the saving of funds to move has been impossible.

This fundraiser aims to secure funds for an immediate move, including first and last month’s rent, a security deposit, and moving expenses. Any additional funds raised above and beyond the goal will go toward a much needed mental health respite for the parent most effected by this extremely stressful situation. These additional funds would be in hopes of providing time to recover, strengthen and stabilize for their family.

Let’s come together, as big-hearted humans do, to give this family a safer, brighter, less stressful future.
