Help Elisia and Her Children Find a Safe Place to Call Home I’ve creatives this fundraiser for my sister-in-law, Elisia, and her three beautiful children. Right now, they are living in tents on my mother-in-law’s property in Eaglehawk. While they are grateful to have somewhere they can stay temporarily, no mother or child should have to endure these conditions—especially through the freezing Victorian winter. Like many families, the rising cost of living and the rental crisis have made it incredibly difficult to secure a home. Even when a rental becomes available, the upfront costs of bond, rent in advance, moving expenses, and setting up a new home can be overwhelming. I’m hoping we can come together as a community to give Elisia and her children the opportunity to move into safe, stable accommodation. Every dollar raised will go towards helping them cover the costs of entering the rental market and getting back on their feet. No donation is too small.
