Help a family from Western North Carolina rebuild after Hurricane Helene!
My name is Jordan, and I am from Greensboro, North Carolina, where I’ve lived for the past 26 years of my life. My best friends, Shelby and Cory, live in a small town called Fairview, outside of Asheville. Like the rest of the city, they have had their home damaged from trees and debris falling after the hurricane, and their lives turned upside down. As Shelby, Cory, and Shelby’s family all work in the tourism industry, they are all left reeling from the storm and are trying to figure out not only how to fix their home but to survive during these long upcoming months ahead.
As their friend, and as a content creator and advocate, I am working to raise at least $10,000 so Shelby, Cory, and their family can clear the trees off of their property, make repairs to their house, and have money left over for their basic survival as they will all likely be out of work for the foreseeable future.
Shelby and Cory are incredibly committed to their community and are some of the kindest people I’ve known. After the hurricane, they’ve worked on rescue teams, assisting the Red Cross, giving out gas to ATVs that were rescuing people, cleaning the river, and working to spread the word about how to get aid to those who need it most. Please help support these amazing people who have already worked so hard to help so many.
