A member of my community was detained by ICE this weekend. I have known his mother for over ten years, and am fundraising on her behalf. Out of caution, I'm keeping her and her son's identity anonymous.

We are all in shock. The family has been working to become legal residents of the US for years. They are the kindest people and deserve all the support we can give. Any money raised will allow my friend to take time away from work to obtain the legal support she needs to be reunited with her son.

Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to them right now.
