Hi, my name is Sofia, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of a local family who is facing an urgent and frightening situation.

Due to the current ICE enforcement activity in Minnesota, this family is living in constant fear. The presence and actions of ICE in their area have made them terrified to leave their home. As a result, they are currently unable to work or carry out normal daily activities, which has led to a sudden and complete loss of income.

This fundraiser is intended as short-term support to help cover one month of essential expenses, including rent, utilities, and basic household necessities, while the family focuses on staying safe and working toward stability during this extremely difficult time.

I am organizing this fundraiser on their behalf and will be withdrawing and distributing the funds directly to ensure they are used for these immediate needs.
