Help a Family Escape Indentured Servitude

Donation protected
Hi.

I'm Greg, and odds are, you know me. If you don't know me, you've received this from someone who knows me, and who you trust. My wife is Jen. Same deal, lol.

My wife and I are community helpers and elders, who also happen to not exist with the money to support the folks who need direct financial support to... in this case? Escape a dangerous living situation in which they are essentially trapped.

Not officially or administratively indentured, but nonetheless indentured to the the person on whose land they are now residing and barely surviving as an unpredictable winter approaches.

The immediate financial goal we've set, which is just $1,000, is intended to provide this family with the money needed to access transportation and other services that will THEN unlock an opportunity for them to escape the de facto indentured servitude situation in which they are currently existing.

Dad works for the person who owns the land on which they live, and for privacy-sake and also because the situation is as horrible as you might imagine, I'll just say that Dad is extremely underpaid.

Mom has epilepsy and it's not well-managed presently for all of the socioeconomic, developmental, and existential reasons you might imagine.

Oh, and there is a one-year-old and a two-year-old.

All in a TINY... broken-down... RV with no running water and no public transportation because it is in deep rural Western Pennsylvania.

We, meaning my spouse and I, will offer supports where we can in terms of coordination, organization, transportation, and sort-of all around "benefits coaching" and guidance.

But we don't have the money to make sure the locked locks are unlocked!

So... any amount you have will be used to save a family.

I will give updates, and you can ask questions.

If you cannot donate, please share liberally amongst your communities who have money and tend towards humble generosity.

Thank you and we love you.
