My Name is Jennifer and I am a mother and a landlord.

My tenant is a hard-working mother who recently lost her daughter to suicide. In addition to the pain and trauma this has caused her and her family, the financial implications are profound. She has used all her savings to ship her baby’s body across the country to provide her with a proper burial. She has also taken a lot of time off work due to the circumstances.

The goal of this Go Fund Me is to raise money to stabilize her and her family.

My tenant is new to Savannah and works at home. She has not even had time to get a foot hold in the community to cultivate friendships, let alone a support system to assist her during this difficult time.

My tenant is an extremely hard worker and has been with the same company for over seven years.

She has four beautiful girls who are six, four, one and six months.

In addition to caring for them full time, the youngest (who was a preemie), is now suffering with retinopathy of prematurity and may be going blind.

The only pediatric ophthalmologist is hours away which requires more time away from work.

Adding to this stress is the fact she only gets paid once a month.

This is the case of a hard-working mother who has always paid her bills on time who is now on the brink of poverty.
