***UPDATE 2/24/2026***
“Since our mom was deported last December, our family has been facing deep emotional and financial challenges. We have worked hard to keep a stable, loving home for my three younger sisters, but we’ve had to accept that this situation isn’t sustainable long term.

With heavy hearts, we’ve made the painful decision to send my two younger sisters to live with our mom in Honduras. No family should have to be separated like this.

Along with everyday expenses, we are now facing significant additional costs for IDs, passports, transcripts, birth certificates, apostille stamps, transportation to appointments, airline tickets, and more.

If you are able, please consider donating to help us through this incredibly difficult time. We also ask for your prayers and send you our prayers of gratitude for your generosity.

Sincerely,
   - A”

“My family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives. My mom, Eylena, was driving home and accidently got off the highway on the wrong exit where security guards held her and turned her over to ICE on November 20th. She was deported back to Honduras swiftly after on December 6th, and we are completely heartbroken. Everything happened so fast, we didn’t even get the chance to prepare or say goodbye!

My mom is always happy and has always been an amazing mother. She took care of all four of us and made sure we felt loved every single day. When she wasn’t at work, she was cooking, cleaning, and taking care of us. We loved spending time together watching novellas, going to the park, and playing with our dog. One of my best memories as a family is going to the hospital to meet my youngest sister right after she was born.

Now that my mom is gone, things very difficult for me and my family. My father and 3 younger siblings (13, 8, and 1 yr old) are struggling deeply without our mom. We have multiple at risk individuals, which also has added burden on our finances. I am only 21 and working 2 jobs to help with family finances but with only my income, we are having a hard time paying for rent, bills, and groceries, and we need help finding a lawyer who can help us fight for our family.

We are asking for help during this emergency. Any donation will help us survive this moment and take steps toward legal support and stability. If you can’t donate, please share our story. Thank you for supporting my family during this devastating time.

Thank you,
- A”

Sinceramente,
-A”

Gracias,
- A”
