Help a DV Survivor and Her Newborn Baby Rebuild

Hi, I am raising funds on behalf of a Domestic Violence Survivor and her newborn child. The mother is a 23 year old Chicana from Los Angeles who suffered domestic violence at the hands of her now ex-husband. After a year and a half of isolation, threats, mental, physical and sexual abuse, she was able to escape with her 1 month old baby. In addition to healing from birth and the trauma from the abuse, she now has to pay for expensive legal fees and to rebuild her life after she was not allowed to find work or go to school by her abuser.
