My name is Victoria, and I am a survivor of domestic violence. More importantly, I am a mother of two young children who depend on me for safety, love, and stability.

Leaving abuse was one of the hardest and bravest decisions of my life. It meant stepping into uncertainty, navigating fear, and taking on the weight of rebuilding our lives from the ground up. Alongside the emotional toll, I am also fighting through an ongoing court battle—a process that is both financially and mentally draining, but one I must endure to protect my children and secure our future.

Despite the challenges, I have continued to work hard and provide for my family. I’ve always prided myself on being strong, reliable, and resilient in my career. But the strain of this situation has taken a toll—time away for court hearings and the emotional weight I carry every day has led to a demotion at work and reduced income. I continue to show up, because I know my children are watching, and I want them to see that even in the face of hardship, we keep going.

Right now, our most urgent needs are:

• Safe relocation for my children and me, including moving expenses, deposits, and transportation.

• Basic stability—school supplies, clothing, and essentials to ensure my children feel secure in this transition.

• Support with ongoing legal costs, which are necessary to protect us but have become an overwhelming financial burden.
