I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mom, Kendra, who has devoted over 30 years of her life to teaching and supporting students.

In September, she was asked—again—to resign or be “separated” from her position because the school district could not accommodate her ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. Despite showing up and working through the beginning of the school year, she has not received a paycheck for September.

Since then, she has been actively searching for a new job, but opportunities have been scarce. She’s now struggling to cover basic living expenses, including bills, while trying to regain stability.

My mom has always gone above and beyond—whether it was advocating for her students, supporting fellow teachers, or being a caregiver to her family. She’s poured her heart into helping others, and now, she’s the one who needs support.

Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us and will go directly toward helping her get through these incredibly tough months.
