Help a Devoted Single Dad Rebuild for his Kids.

Hi, my name is Antonio, and I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this — but here I am, humbly reaching out.

I’ve been a single father for over six years now, raising my amazing children on my own while also serving full-time in the U.S. military. Being both mom and dad is a challenge I’ve embraced with everything I have. My kids are my world, and every decision I make is for their well-being, their future, and their sense of stability.

As an active-duty service member, I’ve always tried to stay strong and resourceful — it's part of the job, and honestly, it's part of who I am. I've leaned on every available program and support system I could access over the years. Some I’ve already used. Others are simply out of reach due to limitations, location, or eligibility. I know what’s out there, and I’ve done everything I can to avoid asking for personal help. But recently, life has thrown more at us than I can shoulder alone.

Without going into every detail, the last few months have been especially hard — a series of setbacks that seem to have piled up one after the other. And honestly, I feel hopeless.

Right now, what we need most is a reliable car, and it’s affecting every part of our lives — getting errands completed, getting my kids to events and appointments, even just doing groceries. I’m trying to save every extra dollar I can, but between rent, bills, and basic needs, there’s just not much left to put aside.

This isn’t ideal. Asking for help like this is humbling and, honestly, hard for me to do. But I’ve reached a point where I have to set pride aside for the sake of my kids. I don’t want to just "get by" — I want to give them a stable, safe life where they don’t feel the weight of the struggle we’re going through.
