Hi everyone,
As many of you know, I'm not someone who asks for help unless I truly have no other choice. Those who served with me can attest to that. But right now, I’m facing a situation where I absolutely need your support.
Here’s the story:
In December 2018, I married my long-term girlfriend. Less than two years later, in September 2020, she left our family after beginning a relationship with her supervisor. She walked out on me and our two young children, leaving us to start a new life elsewhere.
Since then, I’ve had physical custody of our kids and have done everything I can to give them a stable, loving home. In January 2021, the court officially awarded me custody. It hasn’t been easy—emotionally, financially, or otherwise. Throughout the years, I've worked hard to shield the kids from negativity, even when I’ve heard painful things about what’s been said about me in her home.
This past year has been especially difficult. I lost both of my parents—just a week apart—which has been an emotional and financial strain. And now, after five years of raising my kids on my own and just finalizing our divorce, I’ve been ordered to pay her $36,000.
To make matters even more complicated, she’s now trying to gain primary custody of our children—despite walking away from them years ago. I believe this move is not in the best interest for our kids. They are thriving in school, emotionally stable, and becoming respectful, well-rounded young adults. Forcing them to uproot their lives, move to another state, and start over in a new school would be deeply damaging.
I need legal representation—someone who will fight for the truth and advocate for what’s best for my children. Unfortunately, I can't afford the kind of attorney this battle requires. That’s why I’m reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who believes in standing up for good fathers and protecting children from instability.
My goal is to raise $8,000 to secure an experienced family law attorney who won’t back down from difficult cases. Even if you can only give a little, every dollar helps. If you’re not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this campaign.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading and supporting us through this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Jason
