Help a Dedicated Family Secure Reliable Transportation

Hello World, my name is Brenna. I'm just a mama trying to do the best I can to help make ends meet for my family. I'm taking a huge step out of my comfort zone by creating this fundraiser, but I figured it would be worth a try.

With that said, my partner and I share one vehicle. That's been the dynamic for years and hasn't really presented an issue until recently.

I've been a stay-at-home mom until June of this year. I started a new job and have been working super hard to help provide, and also to save some money. As we all know, the current state of the economy is not ideal for many, myself and my family included. My partner works construction, so he is the primary user of our vehicle, and due to scheduling conflicts, he isn't always able to take me to work or our son to daycare. So we have been in a position of relying on rides from others, but this has become increasingly stressful over the last few months and I'm really just looking for some help in getting a 2nd vehicle to ease the stress and mental strain this puts on us as a family.

With all of our outgoing expenses, it's proven quite difficult to purchase a 2nd vehicle. But I do have a small amount saved that I plan to use towards this as well. I will be using all funds raised as a down payment for a vehicle I can finance, or for a reliable used vehicle.

I know there are many others out there struggling, whose needs are far more imperative than mine. And I'm also not one to ask for help often. I've tried to take on many of life's obstacles on my own. But I've often been told that there's no shame in asking for help when you really need it, and I've reached a point where I really need it.
