Help a Dedicated Dad Secure Legal Support

I had an amazing dad who was involved and supported me my whole life. I try my hardest to be like him with my own son. Unfortunately, my son's mother and I don't always agree on things. When we separated, I immediately went to a lawyer and we had a parenting plan drawn up. Everything is 50/50. Custody and visitation time are all split right down the middle. All decision-making (education, healthcare, extracurriculars) is to be made by both of us.

My son’s mother is refusing to include me in medical decisions or provide any explanations to me about what she feels are behavior issues. She has now filed for modification of child support. I have no problem paying my fair share. This year, I have covered all expenses for basketball, soccer, tee ball, and swimming lessons. She has not contributed anything. The bottom line is I cannot afford a lawyer at the moment.

I am seeking $6,000. That would cover my remaining balance from getting the original parenting plan and give me enough for a retainer for the recent issues.
