On November 26, approximately around 12:58p.m., the day before Thanksgiving, my husband and his coworker were working on the roof at The Post Climbing in Pasadena. When he went down to retrieve a tool from his work van, he discovered that it had been stolen. Unfortunately, the thieves removed the GPS tracker from the van, leaving it in the parking lot. My husband located the tracker in the parking spot where the van was parked.
His stolen van also contained his wallet, all of his work tools, and his coworker’s car keys. He contacted the Pasadena Police Department within an hour, officers responded to file a police report. They will reach out if any information is updated locating the vehicle.
Currently, he is without his essential work tools, which are crucial for his livelihood. Additionally, his wallet and personal credit cards have been blocked for security reasons.
Update: On November 28th around 10 a.m., the police recovered the abandoned vehicle behind a marketplace, just 4 minutes from where it was stolen. Unfortunately, the vehicle was completely stripped, containing no tools, no car keys, and no wallet.
My husband is a dedicated hard working dad, and this situation has been especially difficult during the upcoming holiday season, which makes it even harder to manage the stress and disruptions. Attached are some photos of the incident.
We humbly ask for the public’s assistance in helping him replace his work tools so he can continue working and providing for his family. The funds raised will go directly towards purchasing the tools necessary for his job. Any support or help would be deeply appreciated during this difficult time. Anything helps.
Thank you!!
