Help a Dedicated Caregiver in Crisis
Donation protected
Heartland Center for Behavioral Change is a small non-profit behavioral health organization.
This past Fall 2024, an employee suffered a medical emergency, which has dramatically changed their life and ability to work and earn an income. This individual's spouse has continued to maintain employment at the same company serving a primarily indigent population in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. These two individuals have worked in health care and social services for nearly all of their working lives. Their dedication to the community and serving underprivileged and vulnerable people has spanned decades.
With one person unable to work and the other trying desperately to maintain employment while also caring for their spouse who is bedridden and unable to care for themselves, this has been an exceptionally challenging time for this family. Recently, their HVAC system quit working and repairs are not recommended. They need to replace their system in order to maintain a comfortable temperature in the home. They simply do not have the financial ability and truly need our assistance. Even a small donation will go a long way towards the goal of a replacement unit.
