Help Scott Battle Stage 4 Cancer and Raise 5 Kids!

My grandpa Scott is 61 years old and fighting stage 4 cancer. He raised three older children, including my dad, who are all now grown. After remarrying, he and his wife had five more children together, ranging in age from a high school freshman to just 3 years old.

Recently, following difficult marital circumstances, his wife is no longer in the home, leaving him to care for their five children alone while also facing the pain and exhaustion of stage 4 cancer.

His freshman-aged son has had to take on responsibilities no teenager should face. On top of school and sports, he handles most of the housework and helps care for his four younger siblings. He's doing everything he can to keep the family together while his dad battles cancer, but it's an overwhelming burden for a 15-year-old.

My grandpa stopped his chemotherapy treatments because of the financial strain and the toll they were taking on his body. Despite everything, his only concern is caring for his children and making sure they have a safe, stable home. With his illness, he cannot work enough to cover the costs of food, housing, school, and medical bills.

I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help with:

• Anything that helps the kids experience a little bit of normal childhood during this hardship
