Help a dad be a father

Hello Everyone,

My name is Charles. I am a single father going through the court process to fight to gain 50/50 custody and my rights as a father to my son.

      As a child of a mother of four of us, I am the oldest, which lead to me stepping up taking a leadership role to my sisters and brother. To say the least I grew up quick, which led to me having different views and prospective than kids my age. Most dream of playing professional sports or becoming doctors/lawyers, mine was to have a family and to become the father I did not have. June 2021 part of that dream actually became reality; I became a father to the sweetest little boy. The other part of the dream turned into a nightmare because my fiancé left me four months pregnant. Since the day my son was born I been fighting for my rights to be a father and to be the father my son deserves. As time passes by so does the funds going into this. I know we as people battle obstacles in life, this is by far my toughtest fight being a single father battling to be in my sons life. He is my everything, i wouldnt wish this situtaion on my worst enemy. Children desrve to have equal time with both parents. I now see why so many men give up and don’t see the fight all the way through, because one its so drainig mentally and physically , two it gets so expensive . That being said ive never been one to ask for help but when you have a child your views change so much. Putting my pride aside im giving it my all to be apart of my sons life. Which has led me to now asking for any help that anyone could offer to help me get to my goal whether its donations or advise im forever grateful. Id like to thank you in advance for your kindness. i dont have much but my word and i promise you that i will be the best father that i can be.
