Help a DACA Father Stay with His Son

On June 11, 2025, I received a devastating call: my son’s father is being detained by ICE and now faces imminent deportation due to a decades-old order from when he was just 9 years old.

Those who know him understand that he is one of the most hardworking, honest, and dedicated fathers you could ever meet. He has been a DACA recipient since the Obama administration, and we never imagined something like this could happen.

He is currently being transferred to Miami in the coming days, and we are doing everything we can to hire an immigration attorney to fight for him to stay with his family. We live in Tampa, but it looks like we will need legal representation based in Miami, and the quotes we’ve received have been very high. I am still contacting multiple attorneys, hoping to find someone more affordable, but we need help—urgently.

This is a desperate moment for our family. He is a father, a provider, and someone who deserves to stay in the country he’s called home nearly his entire life.
