Help a Carer who had her transportation stolen
Donation protected
An amazing carer called Tracy has had her electric bike stolen a couple of days ago while caring for a patient. This is very close to my heart as Tracy helped me and my family more than you can imagine caring and most importantly being an amazing friend to my mum before her illness and at the very end.
This was her only means of transport between all her patients and she has continued to work and care for anyone who needed it throughout the whole lockdown. Sadly after checking it is not covered by her insurance. It has been officially reported to the police.
She is a self employed carer and is doing her best to raise the funds to get a replacement. It's is going to cost around £2000 to replace so I'm trying to help and see if we can raise half of this to get her back up and running to be able to see her full list of patients as soon as possible. She is trying to maintain her services walking very long distances every day and getting multiple buses to some patients but this is not maintainable long term.
Tracy started her own caring business Kindercare at the beginning of February this year and although she is always in demand and is well loved and appreciated in the community she is still in the first year of her business so this is a devastating hit.
I know these are trying times for everyone but let's see what we can do!
