As a survivor who now helps other women rebuild their lives after trauma, abuse and violence, this is deeply personal to me.
I’ve lived this.
And I’ve seen firsthand that there is a gap in support that so many people don’t talk about.
There are resources for crisis.
There are systems for emergency situations.
But once a woman gets out… once she’s no longer in immediate danger…
there’s often very little support for what comes next.
And yet, that “in-between” stage is one of the most important.
It’s where the real healing begins.
It’s where a woman rebuilds her identity, her safety, her peace… her life.
I am currently walking closely with a woman in this exact season.
We recently secured a 3-year restraining order and she is now safely rebuilding her life with her 7-year-old son.
They are no longer in danger — and that alone is a miracle.
But what people don’t see is everything it took to get here.
I’ve had the honor of working with her for the past year and a half as a life coach and advocate.
And in that time, I have watched her do some of the hardest, bravest work a person can do.
We’ve walked through paralyzing fear.
Court processes.
Restraining orders.
Moments of uncertainty and overwhelm.
Moments where it would have been easier to stay.
But she didn’t.
She chose courage over and over again.
We’ve worked on rebuilding her confidence, her self-worth, her faith, her independence… renewing her mind and helping her believe that a different life was possible.
We’ve laughed together.
We’ve cried together.
We’ve prayed together.
We’ve fought through hard moments together.
And I’ve walked with her every step of the way.
Most women have to navigate this kind of journey completely alone… and that’s what makes it feel impossible to leave.
But she didn’t give up.
And now, she’s finally on the other side of what so many women never get to experience…
She is Safe.
Now comes the rebuilding.
She is beginning therapy, creating stability for her son, beginning the restorative journey, and working to build a home that feels peaceful, safe, and full of life again.
This weekend, I will be spending the day with her and going to her home personally to help her reset her space and create a true sanctuary for her and her 7-year-old son.
A place that doesn’t just feel safe… but feels like peace, like joy, like a fresh start.
And I would love for us to come together as the body of Christ and support her in this next chapter.
Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help in kicking off her rebuilding season with:
• Basic household needs
• Creating a peaceful and safe home environment
• Items that bring comfort, warmth, and stability
• Therapy and emotional support resources
She has done the work.
She has fought for her life and her child.
She is ready to step into a full, safe, and abundant life.
If you feel led to give, any amount truly helps.
If you prefer not to give financially, gift cards ( Ross, TJ Maxx, Target, Groceries etc.) are also incredibly helpful as we prepare her home this weekend. You can message me directly to coordinate.
If you’re not able to give, sharing this would mean just as much.
This is more than a donation.
It’s helping a mother and her son step into a new life — one marked by safety, healing, peace, and restoration.
Thank you for being part of that and for being the hands and feet. ❤️
