Help a Blind single mom of five
Dearest friends and family, few weeks ago I came across a video that touched my heart deeply. I saw a remarkable woman named Hilfi Zbelo. She is blind and raises her five children all by herself. She lives in the Northern part of Ethiopia just outside town of Adwa. Her husband left her but that did not let her fall at anyone’s mercy. She works very hard to maintain her family and send her kids to school. She survives doing some irrigation and planting vegetation. Her kids guide her to the farm area and then she takes care of the rest. The sad part is she does not even have the basic tools needed for farming effectively. From the video we can witness how unfortunate and desperate her life is. However, despite all the obstacles stacked against her we all can see how optimist, hardworking and positive she is. Therefore, I ask all of you my family and friends that we contribute all we can to this helpless woman. All the money that gets donated here will go towards buying her some basil irrigation tools. This will help her to continue doing the best she can, to not only sustain her family but also be a productive member of the community and continue to inspire us all. Queridos amig@s y Familia, Hace unas semanas, me encontré con un video que emocionó profundamente. Vi a una mujer extraordinaria que es ciega y cría a sus cinco hijos sola sin caer en la dependencia de nadie. Se llama Hilfi Zbelo y vive en el Norte de etiopia. Pasé las noches pensando en lo lamentable y desesperada que era su vida. Sin embargo, a pesar de todos los infortunios de su vida uno puede ver como optimista, trabajadora y positiva es en la forma en que se presenta a sí misma. Ella vive cultivando (plantando cebollas y tomates). Desafortunadamente, ella ni siquiera tiene las herramientas básicas que se necesitan para cultivar de manera efectiva. Entonces, les pido a todos que ayudemos a esta señora pobre e incapacitada. Todo el dinero que se dona aquí se destinará a comprarle equipo agrícola de albahaca para que pueda continuar haciendo lo mejor que pueda. Así no solo ayudará a su familia sino también contribuirá a su comunidad. Les agradezco por adelantado por toda la donación. Recuerden que no hay una donación tan pequeña.
