Family, it’s time to show up for someone who has always shown up for us.

Our beloved friend—Gothess Jasmine, a Black trans powerhouse, drag performer, and unwavering advocate for Black queer liberation—is in a moment of deep need. For years, they’ve poured themselves into our community through performance, mutual aid, and grassroots organizing. Now, they need us.

Life has brought an incredibly heavy load. They’ve had to step back from the bookings and gigs that once sustained them in order to care for their child and tend to their mental health. On top of that, their cousin is in the fight of her life, battling cancer—bringing a wave of emotional and financial strain to their entire family.

Right now, they’re struggling to keep food on the table and make rent while they navigate caregiving, grief, and healing.
