Just less than a year ago, they moved into what they believed to be their dream home, filled with aspirations of creating cherished memories together. The previous homeowners had pointed out a minor issue with water seepage near the sump pump and under the stairs, assuring them it was nothing major and could be easily managed with a dehumidifier. But as time passed, a strange odor began to linger, prompting them to investigate further. What they discovered left them in shock: mold creeping beneath the flooring and even climbing the walls. The health of their family became a significant concern, leading them to take action, with the support of their insurance company, to address the problem.

After weeks of tearing out the affected areas and trying to reclaim their home, they received a devastating blow: their claim was denied. The reality of the situation is stark – they have a basement that’s nearly stripped bare, a foundation leaking from multiple sides, and a pressing need to ensure that mold is fully eradicated before they can move forward with their lives.

This year has already been fraught with challenges for them, with various health issues and unexpected repairs piling up. It breaks my heart to see them struggle under the weight of it all, and as someone who cares deeply for this family, I’m reaching out to you for support.
