Help Muriel Ann Connick a 92 year old lady retire

Should a 92 year old woman have to work because she cannot survive otherwise???

Today while shopping at Burlington in the Pompano citi center 2251 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach FL

I came across an elderly lady working in the fitting rooms. There was no smile on her face in fact she looked angry, I thought I would compliment her to try to make her smile, I said good for you to still be working, she looked at me angrily and said would you want to work at 92. My heart sank, she said her pension and food stamps have been cut and she had no choice. I almost felt tears coming. Unfortunately I had no cash on me but I planned to go back and look for her and give her a small donation. My point is that if anyone is fortunate enough to leave a small donation for Muriel i beg you to do so and give her freedom to enjoy what time is left of her retirement .

Can you imagine at that age being on your feet all day long?

I'm 30 years younger and would be tired never mind the aches and pains of her small frame.

I did stop to see her again with a small gift, she had heard I had made a Facebook post regarding her situation and was happy and hopeful.

Message from co-worker

I worked with Muriel for almost 2 years and I can not even begin to to describe how nice and incredibly strong she is. She showed up for work every day and works harder than most people there. Not only does she work the fitting room, she also helps receiving put all the clothes out on the floor.I helped her complete an application to the assistance fund through Burlington because her pipes are broken under her trailer and it's causing the the floors to break which is a major falling hazard for her. She was unfortunately denied that help. I wish I was able to do more for her myself, but if you're financially capable then please be kind to her. I know she works 9 to 2 most weekdays. Please tell her Alex says hello. I know she needed $5,000 to get her pipes fixed. She was trying to get the $2,000 down payment for the contractor.

Thank you so much for caring!! https://youtube.com/shorts/azLw8yempCA?si=6NyytrVkzztRqlfo
