A Loving Husband Lost, A Mother Left to Care for 6 Children

On June 14th, while on what should have been a joyful holiday in Bali celebrating Jazmyn’s 30th birthday (16th June) her world was shattered. Her beloved husband, Zivan — a devoted father and loving partner — was tragically taken from them in a sudden act of violence. This sudden and devastating loss has left Jazmyn a single mother to six beautiful children, aged from just 9 months to 13 years.

Whilst only married for just under a year, the couple were deeply in love and shared a family together. Now Jazmyn faces the unimaginable challenge of caring for their large family alone — including three children diagnosed with epilepsy who require ongoing medication, therapies, and frequent medical appointments.

While Jazmyn is in still in Bali working through this crisis, her family back home in Australia are caring for the children. She also needs to extend her stay in Bali whilst investigations continue.

The financial burden is overwhelming. Immediate expenses include travel related expenses but most importantly supporting Jazmyn’s family back home. Long-term, Jazmyn must cover household expenses, medical care for the children, and create positive experiences to help her family heal from this trauma.

Zivan was a kind, hardworking man devoted to his family. His loss leaves a huge hole in their lives, but together, we can help Jazmyn and her children find a way forward.
