In 2023, I survived a very traumatic event when I was shot six times. By God’s grace I am still here today, but my life has changed in many ways. Because of my injuries, I am now disabled and on many days I have to use a walker or a cane just to move around.

Since this happened, my brother has taken my child and me into his home and has been taking care of us. He has been doing everything he can to support our family while I focus on healing.
