Hi everyone! My name is Maddie Hall, and I’m raising money for a cause that means so much to me.

This past year, a dear friend of mine lost his life to suicide. He was a strong supporter of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and I want to honor him by raising money for a program he deeply believed in.

My friend was a light. He was always shining, spreading love, and supporting others in every way he could. He showed kindness through his laughter and brought warmth and smiles into every room he entered. His family and friends miss him every day, and we want to do something to celebrate his life and the impact he had on all of us.

This June, I will be racing in HYROX NYC in his honor. HYROX is both physically and mentally demanding, and throughout my training, I’m reminded to keep going, even when it feels hard. I’m dedicating this race to him and using it to raise awareness and support for 988, carrying his memory with me every step of the way.
