Florence is a 97-year-old lady who lives in a house that many people thought was abandoned. When we met her, we knew we had to step in. With the help of our community, we rebuilt the outside of her home — giving her a brand-new roof, repairing the fence, and bringing the property back to life.

But the inside of the house still needs a lot of work. Over the years, water leaks have caused serious damage — there are literally holes in her ceilings, and even some of the walls have started to show signs of damage. The attic insulation is also in very poor condition, which makes it difficult to keep the house warm during Canada’s long winters. On top of that, Florence also needs a proper railing installed so she can safely step outside and enjoy her backyard without the risk of falling. At her age, no one should have to live with problems like these.

That’s why we are starting this GoFundMe — to raise the funds needed to repair the inside of Florence’s home so she can spend her remaining years in comfort and peace. Every donation will go directly toward making her home safe and livable again.
