Hello, my name is Christopher Boccaleoni, and I'm writing with a heavy heart about my 85-year-old father, Guido Boccaleoni.
Guido urgently needs support after losing his home due to a mishandled foreclosure by his mortgage lender. Despite clear evidence of wrongdoing, the court could not address the fraud involved.
A civil action has been filed, along with an emergency stay order, and an appeal. In the meantime, while these actions are pending Guido has been ordered 60 days to vacate his home of over 50 years.
Guido's home has been the foundation of his family -- he raised four children and welcomed his grandchildren. After a lifetime of service to our country and community -- volunteering with the Lyon's Club and helping countless neighbors and his local community -- he now faces losing it all.
A mortgage company defrauded him. Guido is currently represented by Legal Aid of Sonoma County, who believe strongly in the merits of his case and it involving elder abuse issues and negligence by the mortgage company.
Guido hopes to raise enough funds, so he may hire private counsel to strengthen his fight in keeping his home and to avoid homelessness.
Guido is on a fixed income only receiving Social Security benefits, and he is mere days away from homeless. Without your help, he will have nowhere to go with his four Chihuahuas.
The funds raised will cover moving costs, emergency and temporary housing, storage for his belongings, legal fees to help him reclaim security, and any other unexpected expense that may arise.
Every contribution helps Guido stand up against an unjust situation and avoid being displaced in his final years.
Please, from the bottom of my heart, help me keep a roof over my father in his last years of his life.
