Hello, my name is Adam, and I’m reaching out for help for my two beloved Rottweilers, 50 and Raquel (Raq). They are my emotional support companions, my family, and my whole world.
50, my sweet boy, has been with me since he was only 6 weeks old. Today he’s 5 ½ years old, full of love, loyalty, and a gentle spirit that has gotten me through so much. Unfortunately, last week he was diagnosed with a torn CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) — a painful injury that requires surgery to repair. Without it, he can’t walk or live comfortably.
Right now, our living situation makes things even harder. We live on the third floor, which means 38 stairs every time 50 needs to go outside. The vet has made it clear: stairs are not an option anymore. Carrying him isn’t possible — he weighs 143 lbs — and it breaks my heart to see him struggle.
This is why I’m asking for help. I need support to cover:
50’s surgery costs so he can walk again without pain. $3800-4000
Relocation expenses to move us into a first-floor apartment where 50 won’t be forced to face stairs anymore.1500-2000.
I have a Job, just don't have the funds for this and have Pet insurance. Plan on adding SPOT Pet insurance. They will not cover this if I add it right now.
Every little bit helps us get closer to giving 50 the chance at a pain-free, happy life — and a safe home where both of my babies can thrive.
50 is being treated at the Wattford City Veterinary Center @ [phone redacted]
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with others. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and support for 50, Raq, and me.
❤️ With gratitude,
Adam
